5 Stars Great buy: cheapest on Amazon
I was at the Best Buy ready to purchase this kit. Thankfully, I figured out that it was about $30.00 cheaper through Amazon. I am very happy with the kit. It holds A LOT. So if you are looking to store your extra lenses, etc….this is a great kit. I highly recommend it.
3 Stars Good deal, but bag is bulky
This is a great deal. The battery alone can be expensive, but when bundled with a big bag and a Canon UV filter, this doesn’t come out to that bad of a price, even if it may seem expensive at first.
The spare battery is very convenient to have, especially if you hope to travel with your camera.
The UV filter is good, no complaints there.
The bag is very good in that it can hold many lenses and accessories … recently on a vacation I was able to fit my camcorder in the bag in addition to my DSLR and two lenses … but it is a bit bulky for everyday use. You should consider getting a holster bag for when you know you’ll only need one lens.
In conclusion, a great price for the package, but don’t make the mistake I did and think that this bag will be convenient for everyday use. It’s bulky!
5 Stars very happy
Very happy with the this product. The case is just the right size for what I needed. Shipping was great. Product was in perfect condition.
I would puchase again from the seller.

5 Stars Camera Bag & Accessories
This Is a very Good bag for any Rebel camera. Well constucted, with plenty of space. I have my Canon Rebel t1i camera, 570 flash, 55-250mm lens, 17-55mm lens, extra batteries, filters, memory cards, and my Canon Powershot camera in this bag and still have room for more. Good padding around the outside and inside to protect it all. A very good bargain with the accessories you get with it.

5 Stars Amazing Battery!
I purchased these batteries as a back up for a trip that I was going on. I ended up only using one of these the whole time and not even touching my Canon battery! I took over 4,000 pictures on my Canon Digital Rebel XT on a single charge on one of these batteries! That is significantly better than my Canon battery.
5 Stars Very good.
Very good for it’s price. I used it for my Canon Powershot G7. It works well. I took over 200 pictures with one of the batteries for the first time I used it. It is equal to the original one.
4 Stars Quick good price.
I can’t really address the quality of the batteries. I haven’t had a chance to test them. The price is good and they arrived quickly.
5 Stars These batteries were excatly what I was looking for at a great price.
I ordered these batteries and they were just what I was looking for. The price was great and they work just fine in my camera.
4 Stars Decent Batteries for a Great Price
For the price, these batteries obviously do not last as long as the OEM Canon batteries. I’ve loaded two of these batteries on a XTI Grip and they work great. I did have some of these from an earlier purchase, and one ended up dying. The reliability and life of these batteries may be questionable. Since these batteries are cheap enough, it’s a good idea to buy a bunch and keep them as backup if you’re going on a trip.

The Canon Deluxe Gadget Bag 100EG was designed with enough room to hold one or two camera bodies, three to four lenses, as well as an assortment of film, batteries, and other necessities for photographers. Featuring reinforced, padded pockets and compartments, the 100EG is a serious bag for the traveling photographer. Practical and attractive, the 100EG is a great way to protect your equipment from moisture and dust as well as the wear and tear that results from excessive handling.

5 Stars It works
Canon Deluxe Gadget Bag 100EG..
Fits my Canon S3 IS in the center main compartment.
Also fits my Canon SD 880 IS, in one of the side compartments.
Battery chargers for both cameras (along with spare batteries for each camera) fit in the front compartment.
Very handy bag, with room for 2 cameras, chargers, batteries, and perhaps one extra lens.
4 Stars A good small bag
I can fit my T1i (with lens on) and one (extra) lens/flash in this bag. Also, memory cards and extra battery can be kept in the pocket. In summary, a good small bag. If you need to store more than one extra lens, then this bag is too small.
5 Stars Great size and very useful!
I got this bag to hold my Canon Digital Rebel XSi (12.2 MP), my 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens and my 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens. At first I was worried it would be too small, but after looking at the images submitted by other reviewers, I decided to take the chance.
Everything fits GREAT. I love the easy clip in the front/all around zipper combination and there is plenty of room to keep extra betteries, cards, my charger and more.
I use the handle to carry it around, so I leave the shoulder strap off, but my husband loves the waste strap when he is using it.
If you are looking for a compact bag with lots of options, this is the bag for you!
5 Stars Let me tell you why this bag ROCKS
Alright, this is hands down the best bag of it’s size and function I have ever seen. I had bought this bag, and after my longtime camera broke, I gave it to a friend of mine. When I got a new camera, I figured I’d get another bag. When I went shopping again for a bag, I realized what a treasure this Canon bag was, and I had a hard time tracking it back down!
First off, I want to start with this brought forward, “for it’s size and function.” This bag is not big enough for all your toys. I chose it from the shelf of a camera store because I wanted a bag as small as possible that would hold my limited camera setup, so I could bring everything with me without having to “pack”, but small enough to actually carry around all day and not have it be in the way all the time. It’s roughly the same size as a woman’s purse (though a little squarer in shape). That said, I currently carry in it:
Nikon D200 body (with protective rubber body, which makes it a little bulkier)
Attached 18-200mm lens with hood
SB-600 speedlight
2 extra batteries
battery charger and cord
usb cord and card reader
video cord for plugging into RCA input
remote trigger and reciever
extra memory card
lens cleaning cloths and a tiny LED flashlight (about 3″ long)
a pez dispenser for plugging into the hotshoe (makes the kiddies smile) and extra pez
This makes it crowded enough to make it hard to get the camera in/out quickly, but fits everything for quick pick-up and carry. That said, taking the cords, pez, batteries, charger and extra CF card and putting them in a small pouch that hangs on the strap makes sufficient room to easily access everything else very easily. To me, the size is just right, but size is not why this bag rocks!
I ride offroad motorcycles and frequently take the camera with me. Off course, I’m concerned about it banging around or crashing and getting broken. This bag relieves this concern in several fundemental ways that I have yet to see on another bag.
First, look at the hardware. IT’S MADE OF METAL. the clips, zipper, hooks, NO PLASTIC. The hook at each end of the strap is a rotating clip. The way it’s designed makes it so that you cannot apply stress to the clips just by twisting, so they last a lot longer. Plus, the spring loaded clip is shaped such that it’s nearly impossible to accidentally unclip them, but very easy if you want to.
Second, look at the stitching. The solid metal ring on the bag that the strap clips to is inserted into nylon that is stitched all the way down the side of the bag and into the bottom. There six inches of stitching holding the strap on, and it’s all visible. Even the top handle is totally solid, I never worry about the strap coming loose, or breaking suddenly. The ones I was seeing in the store, were plastic clips, attached to 1/4″ wide strap
that had 1/2″ of stitching holding it in. On other bags, in an environment where the bag is undergoing some motion, those clips could break, the stitching could come out, or the strap that the clip is attached to could break – all in an instant without any sign of wear. With this bag, I can see how close anything is to breaking.
Third, and I can’t believe this is not touted in the item description, there is another strap on this bag! You can fold it back, tuck it inside a pouch in the back so that most of the time, the bag is just a regular shoulder strap orientation, but you can pull out this second strap that goes around your waist. Once again, the hardware on the second strap is high quality. On the motorcycle, this relieves most pressure from the shoulder strap, since it’s really strapped tightly around my waist. No bouncing around at all. However, extreme environments aside, when I’m just walking around town shooting, I take out the second strap, tie the bag to my back essentially, and it’s not constantly in the way swinging around, I don’t even notice it. In addition, with the extra strap, my shoulders don’t get as tired walking around with a heavy camera for a long time from a single shoulder strap.
Finally, and no one got a picture of this, there are plastic runners on the bottom of the bag, so as it’s used, picked up, put down, dragged around, whatever, it’s not wearing a hole in the bottom of the bag.
All in all, I was impressed at the quality in this bag when I first got it. When I start looking at other name brand bags that are supposed to do the same thing, I am amazed at the lack of quality in some of the most fundamental areas. If this bag ever wears out, I will seek out another one just like it again and again until someone else starts meeting some of the basic needs of an outdoor photographer.
5 Stars Canon Camera bat
Camera bag is nice and durable. Our Canon Ti1 fits snugly with two lenses (base plus telephoto) and a few small items (extra cards, cords, cleaning cloths and camera strap.) We recently found out that it is not waterproof. There is a lot of insulation, so the camera didn’t get wet (even in a pretty steady downpour.) We’ll be spraying it with scotchguard before our next big trip, though, so as not to have to deal with a damp bag. Got a great price on Amazon- the price at Target was about $20 more.

5 Stars Better than I expected
Been using this battery now for over 3 months with my T1i.
Holds its charge a looong time. I haven’t timed it, but it feels at least twice as long as the standard battery.
…and you can’t beat the price.
Advice: if you’re looking to get an extra battery, get this one.
5 Stars Works just fine – excellent value
Having a new camera for taking pictures of museum artifacts (primarily), I needed spare batteries to “feed my flash.” Problem was that the OEM battery (Canon) was ~$70 USD each which would reduce the number of spares I could pack. Also, the OEM charger was AC only, so would not allow for recharging while in transit. Opteka to the rescue! Inexpensive batteries and a dual AC & DC charger fit my needs exactly. I used the batteries for all day shooting of museum aircraft (lots of flash usage) and they performed at least as well as the OEM battery. Recharging was quick also, being less than 90 minutes in the car, so I could always have charged batteries on hand. Excellent value and performance overall, highly recommended for the amateur photog, perhaps even for the pro. Didn’t try the Opteka batteries in the Canon wall-charger as I was the Opteka charger, so cannot comment on capability. I recommend the charger & battery combination anyway because of the DC car plug.
1 Star The marked voltage worries me a great deal
The Canon Xsi ships with, and is rated for, a 7.4v battery. This is listed as 7.2v on the box, the battery and on the Opteka website. I was told by a Marketplace Vendor that the 7.2v is a “misprint,” but there is no way of truly knowing and it’s enough to make me worry. I’d hate to damage a $$$$ camera over a $ battery. This one is going in the garbage and I’m going with the Canon Equivalent LP-E5 Battery which is marked with the correct information (7.4v!), has a solid reputation, and is currently selling for a better-than-amazon price on Diamondback Battery’s website.
2 Stars got what you paid for
Fully charged it after some use of it already and seems as if it has the memory effect. The XSi camera’s battery icon shows it has at least half of the juice left before the camera stops working. Well, you trade 1/2 of the battery capacity for 3/4 of the cost. A good deal? In the shooting field, you may have twice the chance to have to change the battery at that monemt you wish you were not, like I was. Not sure if other 3rd party batteries more or less the same issue…..
5 Stars Decent for the money
Not as good as Canon, but for the money this will work great for a backup battery! I would say it lasts about 75% as long, and have not had any problems with it.
