The Lightpro Dome diffuser is a large, round, soft and flexible diffuser that slips over the front of compatible flash units. The inside of the dome is completely textured to make the light dispersion even more “soft” than it would be otherwise. And because of this design, it is possible to make the material more translucent, keeping the unit from losing a lot of light while actually increasing the diffusion and softness of light. The included inverted dome allows you to softly diffuse direct light with a large, soft source without creating flare on the front of your lens.

4 Stars Cloud Dome diffuser
Works well. I usually use this in portrait evening shots with the sun setting in the background. At these times, this add a good fill-in flash without looking like a flash was used.
Soft plastic becomes distorted when stored. But once installed on flash and cap is put on, it forms back to its spherical shape.

It’s pretty loose on my 430 EX II, but fits great on my 580 EX II…
The light is great… diffuse and gives a nice glow. I use this for events and have been happy with it thus far.
And for quite a bit cheaper than Fong diffuser, which is an overpriced piece of modified tupperware…
