User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars much better than standard battery
This battery should have came with the Canon HG20. I can record for about 3 hours using this battery. I never ran it down so that is just going on the battery meter on the camera’s LCD for remaining battery life. It does stick out the back of the camera because it has more battery cells but it is the same color as the camera and only sticks out a few millimeters. It doesn’t get in the way so don’t worry about that if you have read that it sticks out. The battery life is great but Canon shouldn’t make you pay the exorbitant price for it to get it separately. They should either reduce the price or include it as a substitute to the standard battery which only provides about 1.5 hours of operation. Again, as with my other reviews, only 4 stars because of the price, which is very high.

5 Stars Great external charger
This is an excellent alternative than with the in-camera charging or if you have multiple batteries you can charge your extras with this one. I have a total of 3 batteries for my HF100 and this will be a godsend when traveling. Charging batteries with this unit is faster than the vidcam itself.

5 Stars Handy Charger
Nice, small, compact charger to keep my backup battery ready to use. LED lites show charge status and plug folds into back of charger, no wire to tangle. Highly recommended.

5 Stars Canon CG800 Charger Review
I am a satisfied owner of this charger. It is simple to use, recharges my camcorder batteries in a timely fashion and best of all, it’s about the size of a small bar of soap. The power plug folds into the charger when necessary making the charger very easy to pack. It weighs practically nothing too.

5 Stars Canon Charger
This charger allows you to recharge canon battery/s without using your camcorder as the charger. Very handy, but pricey. Takes about 90 min to charge the std. BP-809 battery.

Zeikos ZE FS10 OR Floating Strap Orange

Floating strap keeps your underwater camera afloat and easy to find in the water. The bright orange strap is easy to see in pools, lakes, oceans, anywhere you and your camera go.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Floating Camera Straps
The straps do the job, kept the camera from diving to the bottom of the bay. Unfortunately the cameras did not work and no pictures. Kept the straps for future snorkling trips.

5 Stars Review of floating camera strap
Floating camera strap works well and color coordinated with my new orange Panasonic waterproof camera.

1 Star worthless
The string connecting the camera to the strap broke the very first time I took it out into the water. I watched in horror as my camera quickly sank to the bottom. There were no rough waves or strong currents – I was swimming smoothly along the surface with the camera dangling from my wrist when the string just snapped. Everything was connected properly – the little string just broke right at the apex. I wish I’d tested it on dry land first.

5 Stars Does the job
I bought this camera strap for my Lumix DMC – TS1. We took our kayaks out on the Columbia River today to try it out. It works! We put our camera in the water and the strap floated and was able to support the full weight of the camera. The orange color makes it easy to see. The loop is adjustable and there is a quick release mechanism if you want to detach the strap from the camera. The quick release mechanism seems fairly secure and unlikely to unexpectedly release itself. Overall, I was happy with the price and performance of this product.
