5 Stars Awesome Battery For A Cheap Price!
I thought i will be only getting 1300mah but no… i got a 1500mah and it works so fine, it probably better than the original canon g10 battery… i would love to have another one of this power 2000 battery!
5 Stars Works perfectly!
Instead of paying $40-60 for the Canon-brand rechargeable battery for my Canon G10 camera, I got this one. It works perfectly. I see no difference between it and the Canon battery. Both last for around 400-500 pictures between charges.
I bought it in combination with the third-party-branded “Adorama PT-33 AC/DC Rapid 8.4 volt Battery Charger for Canon NB7L Batteries” which is smaller, lighter, and a fraction of the cost of the Cancon charger.
I have no hesitation recommending this battery and charger to others. And, for the price, I’m going to buy a second pair as a back up!
1 Star watch out for Chinese batteries
I purchased two battery packs for an old 20D a long time ago. They were great at first but after a month or so, both aftermarket products died (didn’t hold a charge for more than an hour or two of shooting). The Chinese batteries are not made with non-memory building Li-ion technology like the OEM Canon versions. Yes, they’re way cheap and you get what you paid for. Don’t take my word for it. Do some research – there is plenty of evidence to support my claim. In the end, you’ll be throwing them away (please recycle them when you do!). I’m not making a plug for Canon; rather, buy well-made OEM products and not aftermarket. Most OEM batteries come with a ltd warranty, so if they go bad w/in a few months, you may be able to have them replaced by the manufacturer.
5 Stars So Far So Good!
I bought this as an extra battery for my Canon G10. Although it is not Canon’s own battery, it charges quickly in the Canon charger and appears to hold a charge like the original.
For the price, it is a great back-up to have around.
5 Stars Great product for the money
I’ve used this battery for 4 months so far… Actually I don’t see any difference with the performance of the original one… This is a great product!!

5 Stars Great long-lasting batteries!
Bought three of these batteries for a 23 day backpacking trip in the high Sierras. They lasted longer than the trip without limiting the number of photos I wanted to take. Alternatively, talked to another backpacker who bought generic batteries for the same camera and his three batteries lasted less than 2 weeks.
5 Stars Canon Battery
Performs as advertised. Holds a charge for a considerable time period as it should. Note: This battery only fits cameras stated in advertisement. I have a SD1100IS and that camera’s OE battery is a different color and size.
5 Stars Works Perfect
Bought it for a SD770IS. Works just like the original, because it is an authentic Canon battery. The various labels are slightly different from the battery that came with my camera, but otherwise identical in every other way. This is a lot better than generic battery replacements that always seem to run out of power a lot faster than the real Canon ones.
5 Stars Canon NB-6L Li-Ion battery Pack
I firmly believe that one is best off (and safest) with an original equipment battery pack for digital cameras. You can fine knock-offs cheaper but they won’t be as durable and normally will not hold a charge as long as the O.E. version. Price through Amazon beats Canon.
5 Stars Fast and easy sale
I’m not much for words ,but the sale was easy and the battery works great.I will do business with this person again.

2 Stars got what you paid for
Fully charged it after some use of it already and seems as if it has the memory effect. The XSi camera’s battery icon shows it has at least half of the juice left before the camera stops working. Well, you trade 1/2 of the battery capacity for 3/4 of the cost. A good deal? In the shooting field, you may have twice the chance to have to change the battery at that monemt you wish you were not, like I was. Not sure if other 3rd party batteries more or less the same issue…..
5 Stars Decent for the money
Not as good as Canon, but for the money this will work great for a backup battery! I would say it lasts about 75% as long, and have not had any problems with it.
5 Stars Works just fine – excellent value
Having a new camera for taking pictures of museum artifacts (primarily), I needed spare batteries to “feed my flash.” Problem was that the OEM battery (Canon) was ~$70 USD each which would reduce the number of spares I could pack. Also, the OEM charger was AC only, so would not allow for recharging while in transit. Opteka to the rescue! Inexpensive batteries and a dual AC & DC charger fit my needs exactly. I used the batteries for all day shooting of museum aircraft (lots of flash usage) and they performed at least as well as the OEM battery. Recharging was quick also, being less than 90 minutes in the car, so I could always have charged batteries on hand. Excellent value and performance overall, highly recommended for the amateur photog, perhaps even for the pro. Didn’t try the Opteka batteries in the Canon wall-charger as I was the Opteka charger, so cannot comment on capability. I recommend the charger & battery combination anyway because of the DC car plug.
5 Stars Better than I expected
Been using this battery now for over 3 months with my T1i.
Holds its charge a looong time. I haven’t timed it, but it feels at least twice as long as the standard battery.
…and you can’t beat the price.
Advice: if you’re looking to get an extra battery, get this one.
1 Star The marked voltage worries me a great deal
The Canon Xsi ships with, and is rated for, a 7.4v battery. This is listed as 7.2v on the box, the battery and on the Opteka website. I was told by a Marketplace Vendor that the 7.2v is a “misprint,” but there is no way of truly knowing and it’s enough to make me worry. I’d hate to damage a $$$$ camera over a $ battery. This one is going in the garbage and I’m going with the Canon Equivalent LP-E5 Battery which is marked with the correct information (7.4v!), has a solid reputation, and is currently selling for a better-than-amazon price on Diamondback Battery’s website.
